The program will be the video by Johnathan Betts, Keeping Time: a short history of clock and watch maintenance, followed by discussion.
The program will be on escapements, the different types, and how to adjust them, with Susan Wood.
Our speaker will be Cecilia Schiller, maker of interactive gear-driven sculptures called automata, since 2009. Her kinetic artwork magically comes to life in a whimsical story-telling event when a viewer steps up to turn the crank. Contact Us for registration information
