12:30 Open Round Table consortium of Hair Spring workers, teachers, practitioners. Three former WOSTEP instructors, hopefully Mahlon L Shetler with discussions of the history, and beginnings of hairsprings, adjustments, pinning, straightening, vibrating, and all things hairsprings. Bring your problems, troubles and questions.
Saturday the round table continues Sauturday May 9th to finish up anything else that we haven’t covered yet.

Afternoon we have the presentations and judging of the 2nd Horological competition.
2nd Horological competition is open to any member (you can sign up at the door for $25). The object is to have made any form of horological item since 2 years ago( the first competition). Home made clocks, skeleton watches, minute repeater complications, rose engine machines, wooden clocks anything you have made/assembled/altered is eligible. You will present your item on Saturday afternoon and after all the presentation the attendees will bote on the best item.
First prize is $1,000 presented by J.B. Hudson. Second prize of $500 presented by the clockmakers guild. Third prize of $500 presented by the Midwest watchmakers, clockmakers association. We would ask permission of any winners to be able to photograph their winning submission either with or without the winner.
